Hi, do you have any 2-bedroom units available this week?

Yes, we have two 2-bedroom units coming up. Unit 4B is available this Friday for $2,400, and Unit 12A is available next Tuesday for $2,550. Would you like to schedule a tour for either of those?

Sometimes your receptionist needs real-time data.

Inventory that changes hourly. Pricing that changes weekly. Available appointment slots. Today’s specials. The list of cars on your lot. RingReady fetches it live during the call — from your website, Google Sheets, Google Docs, or any API — and answers the caller with fresh, current information. No retraining. No prompt edits. No engineer.

Connects to anything you already update.

If a human can read it on the web, your AI can too. No new tools to learn.

What people actually use it for.

The kinds of questions your receptionist couldn’t answer before.

Car dealerships: "Do you have a 2025 Highlander in stock?" Your inventory sheet has the answer; the AI reads it live.
Restaurants: "What’s tonight’s special?" The chef updates the Google Doc; the AI reads it on the next call.
Retail: "Do you carry size 11 Nikes?" Inventory feed answers in real time; AI confirms availability.
Service businesses: "Are you serving the 94110 ZIP today?" Service-area sheet answers; AI confirms or refers.
Florists: "What arrangements do you have today?" Today’s availability doc answers; AI describes the options.
Property management: "Do you have any 2-bedroom units coming up?" Active-listings sheet answers; AI describes what’s available.

Unlimited fetches per call. No per-API quotas, no metered pricing. Same flat-rate logic as everything else.

Common questions

What data sources work with Live context?
Your business website, Google Docs, Google Sheets, or any publicly accessible URL or REST API endpoint that returns text, HTML, or JSON. If a human can read the page in a browser without logging in, the AI can fetch it too.
How fast does the AI pick up changes?
Near-immediately. Update your inventory sheet at 2:15 PM — the 2:16 caller hears the new info. There’s no retraining step, no manual re-deploy, no prompt-edit cycle. You change the source; the AI follows.
How do I share a Google Doc or Sheet so the AI can read it?
Open the file, click Share, set General access to "Anyone with the link can view", then paste the URL into RingReady’s Live context settings. We handle the export-format conversion (Doc to text, Sheet to readable rows) automatically. There’s a Test fetch button in the wizard so you can confirm the AI can read it before going live.
Can it pull from a private API that requires authentication?
Not today. Live context only fetches sources that are publicly accessible without authentication. If your data sits behind an API key or OAuth, you have two practical options: (1) build a thin public proxy endpoint that strips auth and returns just the data your AI needs, or (2) export the data into a public Google Sheet (cron-jobbed or written by your own backend) that the AI reads. We’re evaluating OAuth-based fetches for a future release.
Can the AI write back to my sheet or website?
No — Live context is read-only. The AI fetches and answers; it doesn’t modify your source. If you want to capture leads or appointments back into a system, that flows through our SMS booking-link pattern (visitor receives your scheduling link and books on your real calendar) plus the call summary email/SMS + webhook export.
What happens if my source is slow, down, or unreachable?
The AI gracefully falls back to answering without the live data and continues the call normally — it won’t hang or apologize for a fetch failure. We surface the fetch failure in your dashboard so you can see if your source is having issues.
Does it work for website chat too, not just phone calls?
Yes — Live context applies to both phone calls and website chat conversations. The same fresh data feeds both channels. Same agent, same knowledge, same live information.
What about sensitive data? Should I put internal pricing in there?
Treat your source like public-facing content. The AI will read from it to any caller or visitor, so don’t include internal-only pricing, sensitive customer data, employee info, or anything you wouldn’t want a competitor to hear if they called. For private operational data, keep it in your internal systems and integrate via webhooks after the call instead.
How much data can the AI absorb on each call?
We fetch up to roughly 8,000 characters of text from your source per call — about 1,200–1,500 words. For most use cases (today’s menu, current inventory, this week’s hours), that’s plenty. If your source is much larger (e.g. a 50-page manual), split it into focused documents and connect the most relevant one.
What plan includes Live context?
Scale ($299/month). Not included in Professional ($59/mo) or Growth ($149/mo). Upgrade anytime from your dashboard — we prorate so you only pay the difference for the remaining days in your billing period.

Stop telling customers "let me check and call you back."

Your receptionist already knows. It just needs the data.
